Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you take Insurance?
In order to maintain this high level of care, we do not accept insurance for Physical Therapy Services. Alternatively, if you have out of network benefits, an invoice can be provided at request to be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. Please contact your provider for information.
A distinguishing aspect of Anthro Physio PT is that all treatment is performed in a one-to-one setting with a Physical Therapist. There is no delegation of time to other aides or techs. You will have the full attention of a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy for the duration of your session and limited to no use of passive modalities. Due to the continued cuts to reimbursement rates for major clinics, PT’s are succumbed to maintain a high volume of patients simultaneously.
Do I need a prescription or referral?
A prescription or referral is recommended. Direct Access Laws in New York State for Physical Therapy services permit 30 days or 10 visits prior to requirement of a Physical Therapy prescription or referral.
How long is a treatment session?
A typical treatment session lasts 45-60 minutes depending on your needs, current progress and diagnosis.
